I can't comment on long-term durability because I just got these. But they feel super solidly constructed. They're also really comfortable and come with one of the best insoles I've ever experienced in a shoe--actual, legitimate arch support! They also come with an additional insert to put in under the insole if you feel the boot is too spacious.

I will note that I usually wear a 7.5, sometimes an 8. But for whatever reason, my gut told me to order a 7. I did, and it fits perfectly. 7.5 would've definitely been too large. So the boot maybe runs a bit big.

Oh yeah . . . SO light. The toe is reinforced like a steel-toe boot, but these boots are WAY lighter than steel toe. I can't comment on whether they are as strong, or strong enough. I haven't dropped anything on my foot. But they feel like they could take quite a lot of weight on the toe.
